A: If you've never played at Junktion7 before, visit the Get a Gig section on this website. We will hear your demo within 6-8 weeks and get back to if we're interested in booking you.

Another good way to get a gig with us is to approach some of the external promoters we work with, you can find those in the links section on this website. Many of the shows at Junktion7 are promoted by external promoters, so it's definitely worth a shot as well as sending in your demo to us. once your demo's been received and listened to we'll keep your details on record for future reference. You never know - if we like the sound of your band you might hear from us when you least expect it!

A: If you've already played here in the last 6-12 months, just drop us an email to info@junktion7.co.uk and let us know what you're up to. Obviously, we can't guarantee you a gig straight away but get in touch anyway. Most of the time we're looking for good local supports for gigs.

If you spot a band that you'd like to support (and you think you'd be suitable!) give us a shout and let us know... you never know!

A: It's not as simple as that, unfortunately. We need to make sure we like your idea before we let promoters work at Junktion7. If you've never worked with us before, drop us an email explaining what you want to do and how you plan to do it, including as many different possible dates as you can on the email to make it easier for us to work out if we can do it. Send us the details and we'll take it from there.

However - our expectations of promoters are very high. We expect detailed plans of how you plan to promote your show, flyers, posters, mailout and the rest. How will you promote it? What kind of profile do your bands have? Think about all these things before you get in touch!

We expect detailed information about all the bands, posters and flyers at least 6 weeks prior to the date of the gig! Make sure you take all of this on board before approaching us.

A: Most of our gigs are 14+, which means you can come in if you are 14 or over, but you will obviously not be served alcoholic drinks at the bar. If you mlook under 21, you will be asked for ID as you come in, so make sure you bring some form of photographic ID with you if you are lucky enough to look under 21!

Some of our shows are over 18 only, so please make sure you check our gig guide or ring 0115 911 69 59 in advance to avoid disappointment!
