Sending Demos CDs by Post

Thanks to the wonders of technology, we no longer accept hard copies of demos by post. Please use the above form to submit your band info and we'll listen to your demo on MySpace. If you don't have a MySpace account you should really think about getting one for your band.

HOW TO FOLLOW UP YOUR DEMO

We receive hundreds of demos every week so please don't expect a reply straight away. Also, gig slots are very limited - we have many more bands wanting gigs than we have slots available, and our diary is normally booked up a couple of months in advance.

Obviously, we love to hear that you'll bring a lot of people to a gig but please be realistic & honest! If you will only bring 10 people to a gig don't tell us you can bring 50, promoters do talk to each other & you'll find it hard to be taken seriously in the future if you've got off to a bad start. Even if you have no fanbase as yet, be honest! All bands have to start somewhere & if you're prepared to work hard to promote your gig a promoter is much more likely to give you a chance.

Finally follow your promises through. If you have said you will design posters, do flyering, mailouts - do it! If you're seen to work hard at promoting your gigs & your fanbase develops you will be offered more opportunities to support bigger bands.
